We are a Lehigh Valley based dog training company owned and operated by trainer Stephen D'Angelo, CCDT. Good Dog Evolution offers a dedicated and personalized 1:1 in-home training experience for you and your dog. The goal of these lessons is not simply to install the skills into your dog, but to also coach you, the owner.
Our Mission: To help dogs and owners experience a higher quality of life together through enhanced communication, leadership, and a toolkit that allows each owner to continuously expand and maintain their dog’s new skillset.

Puppy Consultation
(1 Lesson)
This is perfect for any owner with a puppy under 3 months old and is designed around setting up your new puppy for success! The focus is not on obedience commands, but on building good behaviors and preventing undesired ones.
Crate training, potty training, handling exercises, engagement exercises, resource guarding exercises, food bowl exercises, separation exercises, bite inhibition, proper play, using hand feeding to shape good behaviors, and socialization.

Basic Obedience
(4 Lessons)
This is for the everyday owner seeking a well mannered canine companion. The obedience commands offered through this program are scalable to a wide variety of goals and lifestyles. This program has an emphasis on coaching the owner, so that the skills may be maintained and improved beyond training.
Sit, down, implied stay, break (release command), watch (eye contact), touch (hand targeting), leave it, place, recall, loose leash walk (heel/structured walk), integrating play into training.
